Check out some of the things I've been doing recently.
I'm currently an associate at an urban planning consulting firm in Chicago. When pressed to declare a specialization while working on my master's degree, I grumbled and called myself a generalist with community development leanings.
A former electrical engineer and eternal science enthusiast, I am curious about the combination of qualitative and quantitative methodologies. As a design nerd, I have an unrequited love of maps and infographics.
I have a unique mixture of engineering, hard science, and social science experience. My technical training in things like programming and data analysis constantly creeps into my writing, research, and design.
I've worked in many diverse settings in many diverse roles. I like to think I can adapt to contribute to almost anything. Sometimes it's hard to make me not try to stick my nose in.
